Positive: The location is excelent, right in the center. It is large enough and very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the large and confortable bed, the coffee machine, the place to sit outside. A good ratio value for money!

Negative: The house has 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and another one with just a toilet and sink. The shower is downstairs, instead of upstairs, next to the bedroom - but this is the only thing to mention in the “didn’t like” chapter 😃

Positive: Casa Maria is very well located, very close to the old town center. The photos on the website correspond to what we found. When we arrived the house was heated, which was great as it was a cold day. Contact with the host was only online but it was very smooth. Because it is an old house, it has a characteristic smell. The host showed care by placing air fresheners in all the rooms.

Negative: As mentioned before, there were several air fresheners in the house, which is a sign of good care from the hosts. However, there were several different fragrances which I found weird, and the one in the kitchen was too strong for me. It would be better to have all the same fragrances. Despite the host's care, the bed linen didn't smell good. In my opinion, it smelled like mold, which did not allow me to have a good night's sleep. I also found the pillow to be too low. When I arrived, I had trouble locking/unlocking the door because I'm not used to the system. It took me a few tries to get it right. One suggestion for the host is to leave written instructions on how the lock works.
